Arrow ECS’ Howard Goldberg Named 2009 ‘Partner Executive of the Year’ by EMC

Howard Goldberg, sales director and head of the EMC business for Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. [NYSE: ARW], received the 2009 "Partner Executive of the Year Award” at the EMC® North America Partner Council, which took place in San Antonio on Nov. 3.

"Howard’s continuing focus on the customer, and his dedication to offering best-of-class solutions and services, mirrors the goals of EMC and our total customer experience,” said EMC’s Gregg Ambulos, vice president, Americas channel sales, EMC. "Howard’s leadership has been a great value to EMC because it has strengthened our partnership with Arrow ECS and helped both companies benefit from the strength of the relationship. Formerly the co-founder and president of SKYDATA in Canada, Goldberg bring more than 20 years of experience in information technology distribution. SKYDATA was the first distributor to bring EMC to Canadian resellers. He has been leading Arrow ECS’ EMC business since Arrow acquired SKYDATA in 2006.

Goldberg was named among the "Top 25 Newsmakers of 2006” by CRN Canada because he "pioneered value-added distribution in Canada.”
