Arrow ECS Launches North American Professional Services Business Unit

Dedicated to building a channel to enable suppliers and resellers to deliver services to enterprise companies, Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. [NYSE: ARW], has established a new professional services business unit.

Arrow ECS now provides technical, engineering and educational support for the full portfolio of hardware, software and storage lines in North America. Also, Arrow ECS’ proprietary services and select cloud computing and managed services are available to resellers and their customers through this organization.

Joe Burke, vice president of worldwide services for Arrow ECS, has been charged with leading the new business unit. He oversees a network of professional services consultants, engineers, technicians and instructors across Arrow’s North American ECS organization.

"Services and products are billed on a single invoice, we provide comprehensive presales and postsales product support, and we serve as the source for solution provisioning.”

Resellers can augment or outsource assistance to customers when their resources are tapped or while they are building their expertise in these areas. For instance, Arrow ECS provides supplier-authorized training, onsite security assessments, engineering services and 24-hour technical support for both resellers and their customers.
