Atmos Energy Corporation (NYSE: ATO) said today that Daniel M. Meziere
has been promoted to vice president and treasurer.
Meziere, 50, will be responsible for all treasury functions including
procurement and risk management. He had been the company’s director of
accounting services since 2002.
"Dan has proved to be an excellent leader in Atmos Energy’s financial
functions and brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to this
position,” said Fred E. Meisenheimer, senior vice president and chief
financial officer of Atmos Energy Corporation.
Before joining Atmos Energy, Meziere worked for Hilton Reservations
Worldwide as vice president of finance. Earlier, he spent more than 15
years in the energy industry in various positions with Oryx Energy and
Santa Fe International.
Meziere holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from
the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting
from East Central University. He is a member of the Oklahoma Society of
Certified Public Accountants.
