Avnet’s Analyst Day to Be Held in New York on December 17, 2009

Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT) today announced it will host its 2009 Analyst Day at The New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, December 17, 2009. The event begins with a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern Time) and Avnet management presentations begin at 12:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. Avnet presenters include: Roy Vallee, chairman and chief executive officer; Rick Hamada, chief operating officer; Ray Sadowski, chief financial officer; Harley Feldberg, president, Electronics Marketing; and Phil Gallagher, president, Technology Solutions.
