BMC Software and VCE Form Strategic Alliance

BMC Software (NASDAQ: BMC), the leader in Business Service Management, and VCE today announced a strategic alliance that will combine the industry-leading solutions of both companies to address the growing market demand for best-in-class converged infrastructures in cloud computing projects.

As IT departments adopt cloud at an ever-accelerating pace, the integration of the VCE Vblock™ Infrastructure Platform and BMC’s business-centric cloud management solutions will help joint customers for BMC and VCE automate their management of comprehensive cloud infrastructures. As a part of the alliance, BMC and VCE will enhance the interoperability and integration of their products and work together to promote and offer their solutions in the market. Mutual customers include leading organizations such as Harris Corp., Telstra and QTS.
