at the 2011 O’Reilly Strata ‘Making Data Work’ Conference, to be held
September 22-23 in New York.
The presentation, titled "Telecom
Network Switches: Big Value from Big Data,” will describe how
communications service providers (CSPs) can harness exponentially
growing data volumes flowing through their networks to take advantage of
changing business and network conditions. Deep, fine-grained analytics
on Call Detail Records (CDRs) assembled from incoming and outgoing
sources lets CSPs reduce costs, optimize contracts with carriers and
manage call quality. Falgout’s presentation will take place on September
22 at 5:00 p.m. EDT at the New York Hilton in Murray Hill Suite B.
