Capgemini Norge AS, part of Capgemini group (Paris:CAP), one of the
world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology, and outsourcing
services has signed a letter of intent1 to
design and implement new IT infrastructure for Statoil Fuel & Retail
ASA, a leading Scandinavian road transport fuel retailer. The five year
contract is of a considerable size.
As part of the agreement, Capgemini will deliver standardized managed
services within the areas of end user computing, server operations and
IT communication, for all Statoil Fuel & Retail locations in eight
countries (Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Poland, and Russia).
Services will be delivered - through the extensive use of Capgemini’s
global delivery model Rightshore®- from Capgemini’s
Nordic data centers via a delivery team from Norway, Sweden, Finland,
Poland and India.
