CityBank Board of Directors Elects Richard Pahre New Member

    LYNNWOOD, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 15, 2005--The Board of Directors today announced the election of Richard Pahre, CPA, to serve on the CityBank (Nasdaq:CTBK) Board of Directors, effective February 15, 2005. Mr. Pahre joins the Board as an "independent" director, as defined by Nasdaq, and will serve on the Bank's Audit Committee.
    Richard N. Pahre is a certified public accountant and, effective December 31, 2002, retired as a partner of Moss Adams LLP, a public accounting firm that provides services to a wide range of public and private clients. Since February 2003 Mr. Pahre has served as a director of Eden Bioscience Corporation, located in Bothell, Washington, and a Nasdaq listed public company. Since 1993, Mr. Pahre has served on the Board of Directors and as a Treasurer (non-executive) of Seattle Goodwill, a nonprofit organization. Mr. Pahre received a B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Washington.
