Cosmote Romania has deployed Comverse HUB Ringback Tone to upgrade its
ringback tone service with improved sound quality and new
personalization features for users selecting music and other audio
content for their callers to hear instead of standard network tones.
Called "Muziton,” the popular service is available to all users and is
compatible with every type of handset. Users select from the Muzitones
Gallery, which includes an extensive range of tunes grouped in national
and international genres, as well as celebrity snippets and funny sound
effects. Based on personal preferences, users can assign Muzitones to
all callers, groups, or individuals. The tones, which can be shuffled,
also can be set to change according to the day and time.
"With its high sound quality and rich feature set, Comverse HUB Ringback
Tone service leads the industry in meeting today’s needs for fun and
self-expression, and creates a framework for future services that can
further enhance the user experience and generate new revenue streams for
the operator,” said Dror Bin, President of Global Sales at Comverse, the
world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling value-added
messaging and content services, converged billing and active customer
management, and IP communications.
The service was deployed in conjunction with Innova SA, a Comverse sales
and marketing partner, which helps operators identify and implement
solutions that integrate communication and IT Services to meet customer
needs. The end-to-end solution includes service management to help
increase service penetration by implementing best practices that have
helped boost success in many other Comverse Ringback Tone launches
around the world.
Comverse HUB Ringback Tone service is deployed by more than 55 operators
worldwide, including more than 10 tier-1 operators, serving more than
400 million subscribers. It is part of the Comverse HUB Value-Added
Services, which spans voice, messaging, mobile Internet and mobile
advertising. Comverse HUB is a synergistic framework that enables
service providers to maximize their business performance and augment
their position in the market.
