Dialog Semiconductor plc (FWB:DLG), a provider of highly integrated
innovative power management, audio and short range wireless
technologies, has won the 2011 Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA)
Outstanding EMEA Semiconductor Company Award.
The EMEA award category was established in 2009 and has been won by
Dialog on each occasion since its inauguration. Dialog joins a select
group of companies that have won a GSA Award category in three
consecutive years.
Now in its 16th year, the GSA Awards recognise semiconductor companies
that demonstrate strength in market leadership/competition, product
lines, innovation, corporate management and overall likelihood of
long-term success.
The GSA's president, Jodi Shelton, commented, 'Dialog is a true European
success story and has seen consistent growth over its peers throughout a
difficult economic period. It has forged successful partnerships with
multiple divisions of many major OEMs around the globe and continues to
deliver exceptional innovation. I'm once again delighted to present this
award to Dialog.'
Dr Jalal Bagherli, CEO of Dialog Semiconductor added, 'I want to
congratulate the team at Dialog, whose hard work has secured this most
prestigious of awards for the third year running, and I would like to
thank the GSA for this award and for fostering a more effective fabless
European semiconductor community. We are all very proud of this
achievement and honoured to be recognised by the GSA in this way.'
