Doubletree by Hilton Resort, Wuxi-Lingshan, has opened its doors to
guests from home and abroad, marking the first Doubletree by Hilton
Resort to open in Asia.
Located in Jiangnan Province, between Mount Ling and Lake Taihu and in
the heart of the Yangtze River Delta, the resort features 487 upscale
guest rooms and a full range of recreational and business facilities.

Design that reflects a unique heritage
The Doubletree by Hilton Resort, Wuxi-Lingshan has been designed to
complement the relaxing natural landscape and neighbouring heritage
sites that include the thousand-year old Xiangfu Temple and the Lingshan
Buddha statue. The hotel's main building faces the lake, bringing the
experience of nature closer to guests.
The spacious lobby features lounge areas on elevated platforms that are
surrounded by streams, reflecting the serenity and prosperity of water.
It also houses a life-size two-mast traditional Chinese sailing ship
designed to honour the rich history of Jiangnan Province which for over
a thousand years was considered one of the most prosperous parts of
China, with its network of waterways that feed rice paddies and fish
ponds.

Guestrooms comprise 266 lakeview rooms and 221 hillview rooms, and have
design accents that encapsulate the local Jiangnan architecture and
style. Lakeview rooms offer an awe-inspiring panoramic view of Lake
Taihu while hillview rooms face gracefully structured pavilions and lush
hills. Balconies provide 180 degree vistas of the area, and built-in
bath tubs enable guests to relax and unwind while taking in the view.
