Health Net Federal Services, LLC (Health Net), the government operations
division of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE:HNT), today announced the launch of
its TRICARE Assistance Program (TRIAP) Demonstration Video. Health Net’s
video introduces service members and their families in the TRICARE North
Region to TRICARE’s TRIAP, providing Web-based video counseling with a
licensed behavioral health clinician to military families experiencing
personal life issues that impact their work and overall well-being.
"Health Net developed the TRIAP Demonstration Video to emphasize the
ease with which service members and eligible family members can use the
latest Internet technology to have a personalized, one-on-one coaching
session from the privacy of their own home to resolve daily stressors,”
said Steve Tough, president, Health Net Federal Services.
With the use of a personal computer, Web cam and online access,
individuals meet "face-to-face” over the Internet with a behavioral
health professional. Web-based video counseling uses a short-term,
solution focused, problem solving approach to help members of military
families cope with personal life issues such as frequent deployments and
reintegration, relationship and parenting challenges, anxiety and
stress, financial concerns, frequent moves and poor communication with
loved ones.
TRIAP is designed to provide tools and techniques individuals can begin
using immediately in one to two coaching sessions and is not a form of
ongoing therapy. Eligible individuals have unlimited access to TRIAP
services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Additionally, TRIAP coaching sessions are confidential and not
documented on military health records.
To set up a confidential Web-based video coaching session through TRIAP,
service members and eligible family members can call 1-800-404-5085 for
assistance. For more information, visit Health
Net Federal Services.
