Hibernia Atlantic Chooses 3Com’s H3C Technology to Deliver Enhanced Ethernet Services on Both Sides of the Atlantic

Hibernia Atlantic, the only diverse transatlantic high bandwidth connectivity provider, today announces it has selected 3Com’s (Nasdaq: COMS) H3C® S7500E modular switches to deliver cost-effective Ethernet services across its transatlantic submarine cable network. Hibernia Atlantic owns and operates a fast, direct connection between North America and the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.

By adding H3C S7500E switches across its network, Hibernia Atlantic will offer more cost-efficient, Ethernet-based services from multiple 1Mbps commitments to 10Gbps.
