Horizon Air is No. 5 in the world in on-time performance and No. 1 in
the United States – according
to Forbes.com, using 2009 data compiled by Portland, Ore.-based
FlightStats. Horizon was one of only two U.S. airlines to make the
worldwide top 10 list.

to customers: delivering them to their destination safely, on time, with
their luggage,” said President and CEO Jeff Pinneo. "It’s truly

in this high worldwide ranking.”
Horizon operated 142,094 flights in 2009. Of those flights, 85.88
percent were on time (less than 15 minutes late), according to
FlightStats.
Named Regional Airline of the Year by Air Transport World
magazine in 2007, Horizon served more than 6.7 million passengers in
2009. In every year since 2002, Condé Nast Traveler’s business
travelers have ranked Horizon among the top 5 domestic single-class
airlines.
Horizon serves 48 cities throughout Arizona, California, Oregon,
Washington, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Baja California Sur (Mexico), and
British Columbia and Alberta (Canada). Together, Horizon Air and Alaska
Airlines serve more than 90 cities and are subsidiaries of Alaska Air
Group, Inc. (NYSE:ALK).
