IDT Wins EDN China Innovation Award for Smart Grid Energy Metering IC

Integrated Device Technology, Inc. IDT’s single-phase energy metering family (90E21, 90E22, 90E23, 90E24) features the industry’s widest dynamic range of 5000:1, providing active and reactive energy metering for single-phase two-wire and single-phase three-wire anti-tampering smart meters. The wide metering range allows manufacturers to merge the various types of meters currently available, such as 5(20)A, 10(40)A, 15(60)A, 20(80)A and 30(100)A, into one model of 1(100)A, simplifying the design and manufacturing process for meter makers and reducing the storage and management complexity for utilities.
