Recognizing the growing meeting planners market in Latin America and the
Caribbean, Priority Club® Rewards, the hotel loyalty program
from IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) (LON:IHG), (NYSE:IHG) (ADRs),
has expanded its successful Priority Club Meeting Rewards® Program
to the 73 IHG hotels within 20 countries and territories in the region.
Developed specifically with meeting planners in mind, Priority Club
Meeting Rewards awards three points per dollar to planners booking just
10 guest rooms*. Up to 60,000 points can be earned with each meeting and
then redeemed for Meeting Credits, an American Express®
branded prepaid card ranging in value from $250 - $1,000, good toward
future meetings at any of IHG’s more than 4,400 hotels and resorts
worldwide. Meetings Planners are also upgraded to Priority Club Gold
Elite status after booking just one meeting in a calendar year; Platinum
Elite after two; and benefit from all of the flexible features of
Priority Club Rewards, such as no point expiration, no blackout dates
for free night stays and online account management 24/7.
Priority Club Meeting Rewards
is available at all IHG brands
in Latin America and the Caribbean, which include InterContinental®
Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Hotel
Indigo®,
Holiday Inn® Hotels & Resorts,
Holiday Inn Express® and Staybridge® Suites.
Priority Club Meeting Rewards helps meeting planners find an appropriate
venue within their budget. After enrolling at www.priorityclub.com/meetingrewards,
planners can submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) online, providing IHG
with a brief outline of their needs. IHG’s staff will then help find the
appropriate venue based on the information provided, potentially saving
hours of research for the meeting planner.
"The ability for our meetings planners to benefit to such a degree from
Priority Club Meeting Rewards
clearly sets our properties
apart in the competitive meetings business in this region,” said Alvaro
Diago, chief operating officer, Latin America and Caribbean Region, IHG.
"The initial response has been excellent as the points are easy to earn
and redeem.”
