InfoVista
(Euronext IFV-FR0004031649) today announced Vista360™ 2.0, the newest
version of its award-winning self-service performance management Web 2.0
application, which offers flexible and simplified management of
operational and customer reporting for service providers and enterprises.
The Vista360
update enables users in network and IT service operations centers to
pinpoint, analyze and collaborate in real time on network performance
and service quality degradation, gain a high-level perspective of
network utilization and return on investment, and improve operational
troubleshooting on the entire service chain. Vista360 2.0 promotes
collaboration both inside and outside of the NOC by enabling one-click
sharing of any dashboard as well as access to the underlying performance
information through external web-based applications. Personalized
thresholds can be monitored remotely and accessed via smartphones using
the included Vista360 iPhone app.
Key features in the Vista360 update include:
-
Event-driven navigation, which facilitates troubleshooting
based on performance events, such as deviation from normal
-
Real-time capability for on-demand, ad-hoc metric collection
down to one second granularity
-
Context-based navigation, to quickly determine what service,
what customer, what site, what network element or what link is
demonstrating performance issues
Vista360
has been well-received and adopted by InfoVista’s customers including
some of the world’s largest service providers, major enterprises, and
customers leading their market such as Si.mobil.
"Vista360 helped us to improve collaboration between our network
engineering and operations teams and accelerate troubleshooting of our
mobile network infrastructure and services,” said Marjan Tusek, quality
assurance manager at Si.mobil, the first private mobile operator in
Slovenia and part of Telekom Austria Group. "Using this application, we
were able to quickly design dedicated network performance dashboards for
each of our mobile network domain specialists and for several users in
the Network Operation Center. These team members are now able to easily
modify the dashboards by themselves and access the data they need,
whenever they need it.”
"InfoVista continues to provide the market with intuitive and innovative
proactive service assurance solutions that enhance operational
excellence,” said Manuel Stopnicki, chief technology officer at
InfoVista. "One of the most exciting aspects of the Vista360 update is
that it empowers users in the NOC/SOC to create ad-hoc reports that are
real-time, actionable and relevant. This version of Vista360 is designed
to support service providers and enterprises in improving cost of
ownership and increasing customer satisfaction.”
Vista360 sits across any of InfoVista’s network, server, and application
reporting solutions and leverages the company’s VistaFoundation®
platform. Through easy-to-use drag-and-drop functionality, Vista360
permits users to freely and simply define a subset of data and determine
how they wish to view it, putting reporting power in the hands of all
levels of stakeholders.
