Intermap (TSX:IMP), a leading provider of location-based
information (LBI) solutions created from its uniform, high-resolution 3D
digital models of the earth’s surface, today announced that it has
received a $1.8 million contract to provide digital elevation data and
orthorectified radar imagery from its NEXTMap database.
The data will be used by the customer for regional planning applications
that otherwise would not be achievable without the accurate NEXTMap
imagery and elevation data. Under the terms of the agreement, Intermap
will begin delivering the data during the first quarter of 2012.
