Interra Systems, Inc. today announced its new Vega A/V Sync product
which supports Dolby Laboratories’ (NYSE:DLB) Dolby® Digital Plus and
Dolby® Digital. Vega A/V Sync is a new addition to Interra’s widely
acclaimed Vega family of offline audio/video analyzers.
Interra's Vega family of Analyzers help media professionals analyze and
troubleshoot encoded video and audio problems in their products. Vega
Analyzers support a wide range of audio and video technologies such as
H.264, VC1, MPEG2 Transport, MPEG4, MPEG2 Video, MP4, Dolby Digital
Plus, Dolby Digital and the AAC Audio standards.
Interra’s Vega A/V Sync enables media professionals to perform
synchronization measurements and identify all out-of-sync points in the
content. For each sync point, media professionals can examine
information such as the packet number, frame number, PTS value, and
more. Vega A/V Sync is based on the debug platform of industry-leading
Vega Analyzers from Interra.
"Dolby is excited to work closely with Interra Systems to enhance its
Vega family of media analyzers for advanced analysis of encoded audio
with Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Digital," said Sabine Bravo, Senior
Manager, Global Sales Programs at Dolby Laboratories. "We're confident
that with these Dolby technologies, Interra Systems has the right
components in its analyzers to help authors ensure high-quality audio
content."
"We are very excited to see the market traction for our new Vega A/V
Sync offering. We support Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Digital in our
Vega family of offline Analyzers and Dolby E in our Baton content
readiness offering. Support of Dolby’s leading edge technologies in Vega
A/V Sync is a continuation of our commitment to technologies from Dolby
Laboratories and gives us the opportunity to offer a broad range of
solutions for Audio/Video analysis," said Krishna Uppuluri, VP Marketing
at Interra Systems.
