Regulatory News:
Intrum Justitia (STO:IJ) has signed a new agreement with Carlsberg
Sweden. The new agreement stretches over a three-year period and
encompasses collection services, legal services, credit monitoring and
credit enquiry services, with the option to add to more services during
the agreement period. The transition to Intrum Justitia as an
all-inclusive supplier will take place gradually as existing agreements
with current suppliers expire.
Intrum Justitia will provide debt collection services with the purpose
of minimizing credit risks and credit losses while supporting good
customer relations between Carlsberg Sweden and its customers.
Automation, efficient web-based solutions and specially adapted
reporting tools grant Carlsberg Sweden and Intrum Justitia more time for
service to customers and for optimum customer handling throughout the
credit process. The combined expertise and experience of the parties
also provide opportunities for continuous improvements in quality and
efficiency.
"We chose Intrum Justitia to achieve an operational and more efficient
solution that enhances cash flow and reduces credit losses. Intrum
Justitia’s professionalism and respect towards customers were also
important criteria,” says Anitha Thornlund, Credit Manager at Carlsberg
Sweden.
"Intrum Justitia’s debt collection services will support efficient,
high-quality credit processes within Carlsberg Sweden’s different
product areas, while facilitating good relations between Carlsberg
Sweden and its customers. We will help Carlsberg Sweden reduce its
credit losses and free up time for its core operations,” says Per-Henrik
Persson, Managing Director for Intrum Justitia Sverige AB.
