Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARUN) today announced that a number of its
top experts in the access networking field would be participating in two
upcoming, blogger-led discussions which will be made available via live
video broadcast. Leading industry bloggers and freelance writers will be
on hand to cover the events as well.
"Independent bloggers, freelance writers, and podcasters have a public
presence that has immense influence on the ways that products and
companies are perceived and by the general public,” said Stephen
Foskett, organizer of the events. "The world of media has changed, with
social media and blogging gaining special importance. Our Wi-Fi
Symposium and Tech Field Day are great opportunities for tech companies
and independent writers to meet, update and discuss products and form
new communications.”
The "Wi-Fi
Mobility Symposium,” being held in San Jose, Calif. on January 25,
will feature Aruba access network experts speaking about "Mobile Devices
& BYOD,” "HotSpot 2.0” and "Gigabit Wi-Fi.” The live stream
will take place from 10 a.m. to noon PST and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. PST. "Wireless
Field Day 2 – Silicon Valley,” hosted by Aruba Networks on January
27, will feature Aruba co-founder and chief strategy officer Keerti
Melkote speaking about the requirements for the next generation network
architecture for mobility, as well as other Aruba leaders speaking about
bring-your-own device (BYOD) program enablement and virtual controller
WLANs. The live stream will be available between 8 a.m. and noon PST.
"We are very pleased to be participating in these innovative,
social-media-focused events,” said Keerti Melkote, co-founder and chief
strategy officer at Aruba. "Just as the world of business is changing
with the migration to mobility-centric work models, so is the
communications landscape and the way that people seek and receive
information. The content and the delivery are well aligned here, and we
hope to drive a lot of discussion and interaction on these key mobility
topics.”
