Law Offices of Howard G. Smith announces that it is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of The Allied Defense Group, Inc. ("ADG” or the "Company”) (AMEX:ADG) related to the Company’s agreement to be acquired by Chemring Group PLC, in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $59 million.

Under the terms of a definitive merger agreement entered into by the parties, ADG shareholders will receive $7.25 in cash for each share of ADG common stock they own. The transaction is expected to close within 90 days.
