Morten Nielsen Joins CTPartners as a Partner in Cleveland

CTPartners (AMEX: CTP), a leading global retained executive search firm, announced today that Morten Nielsen has joined the Firm as a Partner in the Life Sciences & Healthcare Practice based in Cleveland. His practice will include a specialization in assignments for chief medical officers and senior medical and clinical positions.

A global executive with over 20 years of experience, Morten’s career has provided deep insight into a broad array of therapeutic and diagnostic areas, including cardiovascular, neurology, immunology, CNS, endoscopy, urology, and oncology.

Morten joins CTPartners from Korn/Ferry International where he served as Senior Client Partner in their Life Sciences/Healthcare Practice. He has recruited board directors, CEOs, senior general management and executives leading key operations and functions, primarily serving clients in the medical devices and pharmaceuticals industries.

Prior to his career in search, Morten held several domestic and international senior executive roles in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries. His 20+ year career included time spent at Wyeth, Baxter, Aventis and Pfizer. He also served as European Vice President of Boston Scientific, a role based in Paris; and later joined STERIS Corporation as Group President and Corporate Vice President.
