Pervasive
Software® Inc. (NASDAQ: PVSW), a global leader in cloud-based and
on-premises data innovation, and Microfinance
Information Exchange (MIX), a non-profit organization that publishes
financial and social performance data on more than two thousand
microfinance institutions, are recipients of the 2011 Information
Management Innovative
Solution Award in the ‘General Achievement’ category. The award
recognizes MIX’s use of Pervasive
Data Integrator™ running on Pervasive
DataCloud®.
"We are delighted to receive this award, as it showcases the tremendous
business value we have gained from implementing Pervasive Data
Integrator,” said Peter Magnaye, CIO for MIX. "Our new integration
processes have helped drastically lower costs and increase operational
efficiency, and allows us to utilize the benefits of innovative
technology.”
According to Information Management, "This award was created to
recognize solutions that are groundbreaking and provide quantifiable
business value. Innovation is partly about adapting to changing
environments, and these solutions demonstrated the ability to respond to
dynamic business goals or introduce a new approach or idea to a company
or an industry.” Winners were chosen by a panel of the Information
Management editorial team led by Editorial Director Jim Ericson, who
"chose these submissions for their demonstrated creativity, their
establishment of competitive advantage or their positive impact on the
bottom line.”
In the article, Information Management editorial staff wrote,
"MIX sought a cost-effective, flexible solution that could be quickly
deployed. Pervasive Data Integrator and Pervasive DataCloud addressed
their complex data transfer/integration needs. With the Pervasive
solution, MIX moved from 24-hour batch updates to automated loading as
at intervals as short as 30 minutes.” Ericson said, "This is an
impressive implementation, with cloud-based integration for
bi-directional transfer of data with real-time activity monitoring.”
"Pervasive integration solutions are built with the functionality to
deliver current services, yet are flexible enough to meet the future
technology requirements of the organization,” said Lance Speck, general
manager, Pervasive Integration Products. "This flexibility and
scalability enables MIX to integrate with emerging technologies and
delivery channels, and provides them with a tool that will grow as their
business grows, to meet future integration needs.”
