Planview Selects Akamai’s Managed Acceleration Services to Accelerate Performance and Improve Availability of Planview Enterprise On-Demand

The Akamai solution supports Planview’s growing global footprint, and is designed so that Planview Enterprise On-Demand users will benefit from improved performance, availability and at least 50 percent faster response times within the application.

The Akamai Web Application Accelerator is designed to use Akamai’s distributed EdgePlatform to provide scalability in the cloud, handling peak traffic without requiring additional infrastructure or building new data centers. This functionality aligns with the growth-based business models and scaling needs experienced by SaaS ISVs, allowing them to increase usage of the Akamai platform as their user base grows. The reporting features in Akamai Web Application Accelerator also provide better insight into end user application adoption in order to uncover potential issues that could translate into adoption barriers.
