Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE:DLB) announced today that its Dolby®
Pro Logic® IIz surround sound technology was recognized by Popular
Science magazine as one of the Top 100 innovations of the year,
winning the coveted "Best of What’s New” award in the Home Entertainment

Dolby Pro Logic IIz was selected for its ability to transform home
entertainment by bringing the dimension of height to the surround sound
listening experience for music, movies, and games.
"We are honored to have Popular Science affirm the importance of
audio in home entertainment through the selection of Dolby Pro Logic IIz
for its ‘Best of What’s New’ award,” said John Griffin, Marketing

Logic IIz the home theater listening experience is more immersing and
involving than ever before.”
A matrix decoding audio technology, Dolby Pro Logic IIz adds a new sense
of depth and dimension to home entertainment by employing front height
