The report specifically notes, "Quest easily outpaced all other vendors in the database development and optimization software segment,” and that the company’s position as market leader "is based on database development and SQL authoring and optimization tools of the Toad product line.”

• Titled, "Worldwide Database Development and Management Tools 2010 Vendor and Segment Analysis” (Doc # 232122), the IDC report provides a market size, vendor share, and market segment analysis for the worldwide database development and management tools (DDMT) market in 2010.
