Schilling Robotics, LLC, experts in subsea systems, announced today the
order for its 50th UltraHeavy-Duty™ (UHD™) Remotely Operated
Vehicle (ROV) by C-Innovation. The vehicle is due to be delivered by the
end of 2009.
Since delivering the first UHD™ ROV system, this milestone in
Schilling’s achievements marks an aggressive period of growth during the
last four years. The UHD™ incorporates the industry’s leading ROV
automation technologies, which help improve the efficiency of ROV
operations. Additionally, Schilling’s approach to the ROV controls
architecture enables full system redundancy, clear visual system
diagnostics, and modular expandability.
Schilling UHD’s are owned and operated by several global ROV operating
companies, including Acergy UK, Ltd., Bourbon Subsea Services,
