Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) announced today that it has been awarded
a $40 million contract to design and build a 152-megawatt (MW) wind farm
outside of Woodward, Oklahoma. Tetra Tech will provide
engineering-procurement-construction (EPC) services to CPV Keenan II
Renewable Energy Company, LLC for the Keenan II Wind Farm. Tetra Tech
previously completed the upfront environmental and permitting work for
this project.
Siemens will furnish and erect 66 2.3-MW turbines for the Keenan II Wind
Farm. Tetra Tech is responsible for all other aspects of the wind farm
design and construction, including electrical collection, transmission
lines, grid connection, and wind turbine foundations.
The new Keenan II Wind Farm will be located adjacent to the OU Spirit
Wind Farm, a 44-turbine wind farm that Tetra Tech recently completed.
