The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts Premieres ‘HERE’, an Original Short Film Capturing an Unexpected Journey Across America

The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. (NYSE: HOT), today premieres an original short film produced by the brand’s newest Global Explorer Waris Ahluwalia, offering a glimpse into the hidden treasures of some of America’s favorite destinations. Directed by Luca Guadagnino and starring Agyness Deyn, HERE aims to inspire global travelers to explore and discover locales in a unique and authentic way. The film was shot at three of The Luxury Collection’s most iconic properties across the United States – The Equinox Resort & Spa in Vermont, The Phoenician Resort & Spa in Arizona and The Royal Hawaiian Resort in Hawaii – and will live on the brand’s website at www.luxurycollection.com/thefilmHERE beginning today.

As an impassioned traveler and Global Explorer, Waris conceived the project with Luca Guadagnino, Sandro Kopp and Tilda Swinton. Agyness Deyn was cast as the muse, styled by costume designer Heidi Bivens, embarking on a romantic and often mysterious coast to coast journey across the American landscape. The brand’s mantra, "Life is a Collection of Experiences. Let Us Be Your Guide,” led the creative direction of the film, which captures The British School of Falconry at The Equinox, the Mother of Pearl pool at The Phoenician and the Royal Beach Tower at The Royal Hawaiian.

HERE was produced by Waris Ahluwalia and Lucy Cooper through New York production house, ALLDAYEVERYDAY. Jason Schwartzman of Coconut Records and Woody Jackson created the original score.
