Carley Roney, cofounder of The Knot Inc. (NASDAQ:KNOT) and editor in
chief of TheBump.com, a leading website for expectant
and first-time
parents, will keynote the second day of the seventh annual
M2Moms—The Marketing to Moms Conference on October 19 and 20, 2011, at
the Chicago Cultural Center. M2Moms is a senior-level marketing
conference designed to help brand marketing executives and their
agencies improve their marketing efforts to today’s mothers.
Roney’s presentation, "New Media for New Moms: What Really Works,” will
discuss the present generation of savvy moms who have the world at their
fingertips. From what they’re doing online and on their phones to what
they’re reading and searching, Roney will reveal the secrets every
marketer should know about what makes a new mom tick. She’ll also draw
on her own experience of building The Bump brand and as a mom of three.
"I’m thrilled to participate and speak at the M2Moms Conference this
year, as moms and their use of new media is an ever-growing and changing
landscape that is crucial to a marketer’s success,” says Roney. "I look
forward to sharing my expertise and advice on building a mutually
beneficial brand-to-consumer relationship with moms.”
Roney will be joined by more than 20 other marketing-to-moms experts,
notably Stacy DeBroff, founder and CEO of Mom Central Consulting, and
Miriam Arond, director of the Good Housekeeping Research Institute.
