Voice
Assist, Inc., (OTCBB:VSST), today announced that it has partnered
with TapFactory to include a Voice Assist button on its TapFactory app’s
software upgrade that will allow clients to use voice commands to dial,
email, text, post to Twitter or even record reminders. TapFactory, an
award-winning mobile app developer for the iPhone platform, currently
has 300,000 people using Contact (its speed dial program), 4,000,000
people using Sticky Notes (its reminder program) and 20,000 people using
TweetyPop (its 3D world for Twitter). Voice Assist will be available in
Contact before Christmas with the additional apps to follow shortly
thereafter.
Michael Metcalf, Voice Assist Chairman and CEO, commented, "Working with
mobile developers like TapFactory to voice enable their existing apps
fits squarely with our business model and our strategic plan. Our
cloud-based speech platform can be used from any phone to voice enable
any app.”
Mr. Metcalf continued, "Although Apple introduced SIRI, its
voice-activated assistant, it only works on the iPhone 4S model. This
left 30 + million iPhones without a voice activated assistant. Also,
SIRI requires internet access. TapFactory chose to partner with Voice
Assist because we work on all phones immediately and speed to market is
important for them. Also, TapFactory chose Voice Assist because with the
press of one button, consumers can call, email, text or post to Twitter
all without pressing additional buttons.” Click

Mark Peterson, CTO of TapFactory commented, "It’s all about having a
really simple and elegant solution so users can get more done faster.
TapFactory is among the earliest iOS development teams with over four
million downloads: Contact for one touch dialing, TweetyPop for the 3D
Twitter world and Sticky Notes to remember everything. We’re excited to
work with Voice Assist to voice enable all of these apps over the coming
months.”
