X-Rite Launches Its Popular Fundamentals of Color and Appearance Seminar This Fall in More Major U.S. Cities and Canada
Due to strong demand in the spring, X-Rite, Incorporated (NASDAQ:XRIT) has increased the number of locations in the United States and added Toronto to its fall schedule of this intensive one-day seminar that instructs quality control and assurance professionals, lab technicians, parts suppliers and manufacturing specifiers on how to evaluate and approve colors in their products.
The Color Experts at X-Rite Color Services will host the acclaimed Fundamentals of Color and Appearance seminar series which incorporates recent advances in the science and technology of color measurement. The seminars will be held between September and November in Seattle, Dallas, Newark, Kansas City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Toronto, Minneapolis and Detroit. X-Rite is the world's leading designer and manufacturer of color measurement instrumentation and software, as well as a provider of related training and support services.
"Last spring, we gladly extended dates for the seminars in some venues that were sold out so we could continue to offer the opportunity to learn more about color,” said Murphy Keeley, Vice President of Services at X-Rite. "I think we are seeing a greater demand for the seminar as companies grasp the value of precise monitoring of color quality in their processes. They want their personnel to get a strong foundation in color and learn best practices of color measurement.”
Taught by X-Rite Color Experts, this industry leading seminar was created to provide practical information applicable to industries dealing with color in easy-to-understand terms. Seminar presenters first give attendees a solid foundation in science of color and appearance, then provide instruction on how to measure, view and understand color data.
The $595 course requires no prior color training and will address color control for a variety of industries, including retail and apparel brands, business and consumer electronics, automotive, packaging and their related industries in plastics, coatings and textile manufacturing.
In addition to the training, each attendee will receive a Munsell Interactive Learning Kit that reinforces the lessons with worksheets, samples, and exercises, as well as X-Rite’s exclusive Fundamentals of Color and Appearance book that acts as a reference on color sciences in easy-to-read language. The seminar runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes continental breakfast and lunch.
Attendees should check with their sponsoring companies to determine if the X-Rite seminar can qualify as continuing education under certain accreditation programs.
All attendees are eligible for a drawing with a prize of either a X-Rite MacBeth Judge II Lightbooth, a $1,500 retail value, or an iPad TM. All participants will receive a $250 voucher towards a purchase of any X-Rite product, with a minimum order value of $2,500.
