A leaked document from
Audi's Swiss importer has let the cat out of the bag: Audi's wunderkind is making a comeback.According to the document, which can be seen on World Car Fans, the 3rd-Generation RS4 Avant will be among Audi's world premieres at the Geneva Motor Show. The information also shows that Audi is sticking with the tried and true 4.2 liter V8 that is available in the RS5. With 450 horsepower driving all four wheels, it will not be a slouch. It looks like the RS4 at the show will be coming with the S-Tronic gearbox, which is Audi's own fancy nomenclature for a double clutch unit. While it seems unlikely, we are holding out hope that a traditional manual transmission will be offered when the car goes on sale. There is currently no word on if the car will be offered in the US market, but we sure want it to be.Here's a teaser of the next generation Viper >Please follow Getting There on Twitter and Facebook.Join the conversation about this story »See Also:SPOTTED: The Streets Of The Philippines Are Running Wild With SupercarsYACHT OF THE WEEK: At $9 Million, This Super Sleek Yacht Is A Great Way To Cruise The RivieraThe First Formula One Car Of 2012 Has Been Revealed
