City Bank Selects New Audit Firm, BDO Seidman, LLP

City Bank (NASDAQ:CTBK) announced today the selection of BDO Seidman, LLP (BDO Seidman) to audit the Bank’s financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2009. BDO Seidman is one of the largest national CPA firms, and the firm has two offices in Washington State serving other community banks with asset size in excess of $1 billion. Conrad Hanson, President and CEO stated, "We are pleased to immediately begin working with BDO Seidman, a firm with national and local expertise to serve our needs.” BDO Seidman will also perform a quarterly review of the Bank’s financial statements for the six months ended June 30, 2009. The Bank expects to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q on August 10, 2009.
