Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:CCO) today announced that it
has won advertising rights to the Sacramento public transit system and
the San Antonio bus system, furthering its reach and delivery of
advertisers’ messages to travelers visiting
and commuting in major cities. Sacramento’s
five-year contract became effective July, 1, 2008 and San Antonio’s
nine-year contract became effective October 1, 2008.
In Sacramento, Clear Channel Outdoor will handle advertising for up to

Sacramento’s ridership has steadily increased
on both the bus and light rail systems over the past 10 years to more
than 31 million passengers annually. The bus advertising contract in San
Antonio completes Clear Channel Outdoor’s
out-of-home coverage in the market and will include 341 bus shelters
with 682 advertising displays, as well as advertising on 804 buses that
provide service to over 42 million riders annually in San Antonio and

Paul Meyer, Global President and Chief Operating Officer of Clear
Channel Outdoor. "We continue to look for
other opportunities to grow our transit-based operations and offer
