Clear Channel Radio Creates Marketing Solutions Unit

Clear Channel Radio today announced a new marketing consulting unit –
called Marketing Solutions – that will work
collaboratively with large national advertisers and agencies early in
the communications planning process. Marketing Solutions is already
providing customized executions to major brand marketers that exploit
Clear Channel Radio’s unique and powerful
combination of assets in the most meaningful and effective way.
Initially, the unit named four Executive or Senior Vice Presidents,
expanding Clear Channel Radio’s presence in
major markets throughout the country. The unit has also attracted key
industry veterans who will work closely with advertisers and agencies
alike to promote the benefits of multi-platform radio campaigns.
The Marketing Solutions senior management team includes:
Greg Glenday – Executive Vice
President Greg was most recently regional vice president and
director of sales for Clear Channel Radio Sales. He joined CCRS in
2001 as Vice President and Director of Sales of the CCRS in Los
Angeles after seven years at the Katz Radio Group.
Mary Pultorak – Senior Vice
President, Chicago Mary joined CCRS at its inception in 2001
from the Katz Media Group, where she spent 16 years. Most recently
Mary served as national regional vice president for Clear Channel
Radio Sales in Chicago.
Randy Gaeckler – Senior Vice
President, Atlanta Randy most recently oversaw national
sales for Clear Channel Radio’s Atlanta
station group. He joined Katz Radio in 1994 before becoming vice
president and director of sales for CCRS in Atlanta.
Jamie Kriegel – Senior Vice
President, Los Angeles Jamie was most recently regional vice
president for CCRS’ west coast operations
for the past seven years. He began his media career at Banner Radio.
Theresa Junkunc – Vice President,
Detroit Theresa’s diverse
advertising, marketing and communications background includes
positions at Ford Motor Company (15 years) and the past two years at
Wal-Mart.
Cary Kimmel – Vice President, New
York With more than 20 years in media sales and marketing
for a wide variety of media outlets, Cary’s
expertise includes sponsorship sales.
Janie Knight – Vice President,
Boston Janie has focused on major accounts within both
agency and direct sales organizations. She began her career in radio
in Boston working for KISS 108 FM.
Adrienne Pabst – Vice President,
Los Angeles Adrienne joins from CBS Radio with prior
experience at Clear Channel Radio’s Los
Angeles station group, and has 14 years in national radio sales and
management.
