Compliance
Systems Corporation (OTCBB: COPI), a provider of compliance
technologies and methodologies to the teleservices industry, recently
participated in an American
Teleservices Association (ATA) sponsored Habitat
for Humanity event in San Antonio, Texas. CEO of Compliance Systems
Dean Garfinkel, in his fourth year as one of fifteen National ATA Board
of Directors, continued his ATA leadership under its philanthropic
initiative, Call
Centers Care.
"It gives Compliance Systems and me great pleasure to have contributed
to Habitat for Humanity through an initiative made possible by the ATA,”
said Mr. Garfinkel, commenting on his participation. Celebrating its
first anniversary as ATA’s philanthropic arm, Call Centers Care makes
available industry resources and manpower for various organized local
and national charity efforts. The Call Centers Care Habitat for Humanity
event came one day after the ATA celebrated its twenty-fifth
anniversary. Answering the thirty-two-year-old international non-profit
organization’s call, Mr. Garfinkel raised a hammer for Habitat and
helped build a house in San Antonio.
"I am pleased to serve the ATA, ensuring standards and best practices
for the industry, as well as demonstrating that our members are
contributing in personal ways as good corporate citizens,” said Mr.
Garfinkel, reflecting on the experience. "Each and every day the ATA
plays a critical role in balancing the needs of consumers and those of
its member companies that utilize the telephone to sell their goods and
services.”
