successfully tested portions of the Healthcare Information Technology
Standards Panel (HITSP) federally recognized Interoperability
Specifications with the CPSI System at the Integrating the Healthcare
Enterprise 2009 Connectathon. The CPSI System is a fully integrated

specialty hospitals with a complete electronic medical record (EMR). The
Connectathon is the healthcare information technology (IT) industry's
largest interoperability testing event. Nearly 70 vendors tested more
than 130 healthcare IT systems.
Demonstrating the value of electronic health record interoperability,
CPSI will present its healthcare IT solution at the HIMSS09
Interoperability Showcase at booth #7750 in the North Hall of McCormick
Place in Chicago, Illinois. The Showcase is part of the 2009 Annual
Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference
& Exhibition from April 4-8, 2009. Designed as a HIMSS Health
Information Exchange (HIE)-based environment, the Showcase includes
clinical scenarios enabled by the standards-based HIE framework and
HITSP federally recognized Interoperability Specifications.
In addition to its active participation in the Interoperability
Showcase, CPSI will also be available at HIMSS09 booth #1008 in the
South Hall to answer questions and provide demonstrations of the CPSI
System.
