Culp, Inc. Announces New Vice President of Human Resources

Culp, Inc. (NYSE: CFI) announced today that the company has named Teresa
Huffman, vice president of human resources, effective February 1, 2008.
Huffman will have overall responsibility for management of the human
resources function for Culp. She will report directly to Frank Saxon,
president and chief executive officer.
Since 2004, Huffman has served as assistant vice president of human
resources for the company. She joined Culp in 1986 and has served in
progressively more responsible roles, all within the human resources
department. Huffman holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration
and Economics from High Point University.
"Teresa has been with us for more than 22
years, and has consistently provided dedicated service to Culp and its
employees,” said Saxon. "She
is well qualified to take on this important role for Culp with a deep
understanding of our business and critical insight into managing our
most valuable asset – our associates. Teresa
will be an important member of our management team as we continue to
execute our strategy in today’s global
marketplace.”
Culp, Inc. is one of the world’s largest
marketers of mattress fabrics for bedding and upholstery fabrics for
furniture. The company’s fabrics are used
principally in the production of bedding products and residential and
commercial upholstered furniture.
