An official appointed by a French commercial court to mediate a friendly agreement between state-controlled power group Electricite de France SA (EDF.FR) and Veolia Environnement SA (VIE.FR) over the financing of their jointly owned energy services unit Dalkia International has proposed the two companies contribute between 500 million and 600 million euros ($668.5 million - $802.1 million) in loans to help Dalkia to finance its expansion, French daily Les Echos reports Wednesday, without citing sources.
