FedEx Corp. on Thursday said it has agreed to acquire Polish shipping company Opek as part of the Memphis, Tenn.-based shipping giant's focus on growing its European presence. FedEx did not disclose how much it will pay for the company but said it expects the deal to close by the summer, pending regulatory approvals.
