Flowserve Corporation (NYSE: FLS), a leading provider of flow control
products and services for the global infrastructure markets, today
announced that Paul W. Fehlman has been named Vice President Financial
Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations. Fehlman has served as
Flowserve’s Treasurer since 2005.
In his new role, Fehlman will serve as the primary liaison between
Flowserve and the analyst and investment communities as well as have
responsibility for the financial planning and analysis function within
the Company. In this officer role, Fehlman will continue to report to
Mark Blinn, Flowserve Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and
Latin America Operations.
"Paul brings a wealth of experience in dealing with the global financial
markets and external constituents, and has made significant
contributions to the improvements made in our balance sheet strength
over the last several years,” said Lewis Kling, Flowserve President and
Chief Executive Officer. "As we continue to provide timely and effective
communications to analysts and investors, Paul’s financial background
and expertise will serve us well,” Kling added.
Fehlman has more than 19 years of financial management experience
including treasury, cash management, banking relations, risk management,
public and private debt issuance and international finance. Paul has
served in several roles at Flowserve since joining in 2002, most
recently as Treasurer. Before joining Flowserve, Fehlman served as
Treasurer for Global Industrial Technologies Inc., and in a number of
financial management positions in corporate finance and international
banking for American Airlines.
Fehlman holds a BS degree in Business Administration from California
Polytechnic University and an MBA from Cornell University.
