GE Money and Thomasville Furniture Industries Extend Consumer Finance Program

GE Money and Thomasville Furniture Industries today announced a multi-year renewal of its consumer financing agreement, originally formed in 2003. The Thomasville credit card program, issued through GE Money’s Sales Finance unit, is available through Thomasville stores and gallery locations across the United States. "We have enjoyed a very successful relationship with GE for the last five years, and the results of our partnership have gone above and beyond our expectations,” said Brad Cates, vice president of sales and retail development for Thomasville. "Working with GE allows us to help our customers decorate the homes of their dreams because not only are we able to provide a wide assortment of quality home furnishings, but also a wide range of financing options through the Thomasville private label credit card. GE cares about our customers as much as we do, and they offer outstanding service.” The no-annual fee Thomasville credit program provides various financing options that include the EasyPay, low fixed interest program that makes financing very affordable for consumers. With purchases of $1,500 or more, consumers can select a pre-payment plan for a period of 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 months. In addition, the program provides dealers with a wide variety of revolving promotion offers to help meet the needs of their customers. "People’s budgets are as individual as their style,” said Jim Seger, Home Furnishings vice president for GE Money – Sales Finance. "We’re pleased to continue our partnership with Thomasville and manage a credit program that enables consumers to get the furnishings they want with a payment plan that meets their individual budgets.” About Thomasville Furniture Industries The story of Thomasville began in Thomasville, N.C. in 1904 with one product – a chair. Now more than 100 years later, the Thomasville story is still being written through the home furnishings, accessories and cabinetry that represent the lives of those who purchase them. Even as home styles have evolved over the years, Thomasville has evolved, too, keeping step with the fashion trends of the day. Today, Thomasville furniture is sold through more than 150 independently owned Thomasville Home Furnishings Stores, as well as more than 400 leading independent retail stores.
