Gladstone Commercial Corporation (NASDAQ: GOOD) ("Gladstone Commercial”)
today announced that the proxy materials for its 2009 Annual Meeting of
Stockholders (the "Annual Meeting”), including its proxy statement and
2008 Annual Report on Form 10-K, are now available to shareholders via
the Internet under the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Notice
and Access rule.
Pursuant to the Notice and Access rule, Gladstone Commercial is
delivering a "Notice of Internet Availability of Proxy Materials" (the
"Notice") to its stockholders of record as of March 13, 2009, the record
date for the Annual Meeting, instead of paper copies of its proxy
materials. The Notice will provide the Internet web site address where
the proxy materials can be viewed and shares can be voted. It will also
include instructions for requesting a paper copy of the proxy materials
via telephone, Internet website or email. Gladstone Commercial believes
that the implementation of this process will reduce the number of copies
of the annual report and proxy materials that it must print and deliver,
thereby reducing printing and postage costs as well as the environmental
impact of its Annual Meeting.
Gladstone Commercial’s Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on
Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., Eastern Time, at the Hilton McLean
at 7920 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, Virginia, 22102.
Gladstone Commercial’s 2008 annual report and proxy statement for the
Annual Meeting have been filed with the SEC and may also be viewed by
visiting its website at www.GladstoneCommercial.com,
or the SEC’s website at www.sec.gov.
