Apple's iOS mobile operating system, which had excluded Google Maps from its most recent update that launched with the iPhone 5. Apple shares fell nearly 1.4% to $531 in early trades. The
Nasdaq Composite made a fractional gain to 3,015 while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index slipped fractionally in early trades.
