Eclipsys Corporation(R), (NASDAQ:ECLP), The Outcomes Company(R),
today announced that Holy Spirit Health System, a 332-bed system
located in Camp Hill, PA, successfully activated Eclipsys Sunrise
Clinical Essentials in just ten months. In addition to completing the
project under budget, Holy Spirit Health System took advantage of
Sunrise Clinical Essentials preconfigured software and pre-defined
implementation methodology to complete the activation ahead of
schedule.
Sunrise Clinical Essentials connects Holy Spirit Health System's
clinicians involved in a patient's care, providing each team member
with an up-to-date electronic health record. This helps Holy Spirit
Health System's clinicians make informed, timely decisions and deliver
integrated care throughout the course of the patient's care.
"Our rapid implementation of Sunrise Clinical Essentials allowed
us to quickly deploy tools to our clinicians to help them provide more
efficient care, while also leveling the playing field with our
regional competition more quickly than we imagined," said Edith Dees,
chief information officer, Holy Spirit Health System. "The
implementation went very smoothly and Eclipsys professional services
provided tremendous support throughout the project, as we met all of
our goals on time and under budget."
Sunrise Clinical Essentials is remote hosted by Eclipsys enabling
Holy Spirit Health System to fully meet its information technology
needs and complements its state-of-the-art infrastructure.
"Holy Spirit Health System's organizational commitment to this
project and exceptional team were critical to helping us get Sunrise
Clinical Essentials up and running so quickly," said Jay Deady,
Eclipsys executive vice president of Client Solutions at Eclipsys. "As
we begin to aggressively market the solution, we look forward to
leveraging our success with this prescriptive delivery approach to
help other hospitals achieve similar results with Sunrise Clinical
Essentials."
With the activation of Sunrise Clinical Essentials completed, Holy
Spirit Health System is focused on documenting how the system can help
them achieve measurable outcome improvements.
