IAOP Ranks Genpact Among the World’s Top Outsourcing Service Providers

Genpact (NYSE: G), a leader in the globalization of services and technology and a pioneer in managing business processes for companies around the world, today announced that it has been recognized as one of the world’s top outsourcing service providers by the 2009 Global Outsourcing 100 ranking, which will be published in the May 4, 2009 issue of Fortune magazine. This is the fourth consecutive year that Genpact has earned a position among the ranking’s top 15 providers.

Chosen by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), the Global Outsourcing 100 recognizes the world’s best outsourcing service providers based on applications reviewed by a panel of independent judges. Originally established to provide companies with an objective methodology for comparing service providers, the IAOP is in its fourth year of compiling its annual ranking of the world's best outsourcing service providers and advisors. The Global Outsourcing 100 and its sub-lists are important reference guides for companies seeking new and expanded relationships with the best companies in the industry.

To develop the ranking, candidate applications are scored on eight criteria that include company size, growth, global presence, customer references, company recognitions, company certifications, employee management, and executive leadership. Genpact was lauded for its expertise in the areas of financial management, transaction processing and information and communications technology. It also received the highest possible marks in the areas of company recognitions, company certifications and employee management.
