Implant Sciences Appoints Industry Veteran as New Vice President of Sales and Service

Implant Sciences Corporation (AMEX: IMX) a leading developer of
advanced explosives detection products and technology, today announced
the appointment of Richard Meyerhoff as its new Vice President of Sales
and Service in the Security Division. Mr. Meyerhoff replaces Joanne
Arsenault who recently departed from the Company.
Mr. Meyerhoff has 20 years of business experience, including sales
leadership and management positions with companies engaged in the
manufacture and sale of x-ray screening equipment for security and
contraband detection, x-ray microanalysis and fluorescence systems. Mr.
Meyerhoff spent four years as International Sales Manager and Director
of Sales with EG&G Astrophysics, now known as L-3 Security and Detection
Systems; 8 years as Managing Director of several international business
units of Thermo NORAN, and since 2003 with L-3 Communications Security
and Detection Systems as VP of Global Sales. Mr. Meyerhoff holds a BA in
Economics from Universidad Catolica Argentina and an MBA from the
University of Michigan. Mr. Meyerhoff speaks several foreign languages
and has had responsibility for leading and managing sales operations,
distributor networks and business units in the U.S., Middle East,
Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin American regions.

As a reminder, Implant Sciences will be exhibiting at the U.S. Maritime
Security Expo 2007 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York
City from November 27, 2007 through November 28, 2007. Senior
