Industry Veteran Joins eSpeed's Global Futures Team

markets, announced that Robert Brown has joined the firm as Senior
Managing Director to lead its Global Futures business. With deep
experience in the futures markets, including the key futures centers of
Chicago and London, Mr. Brown brings approximately 20 years professional
experience in leading global sales, execution, and client relationships.
Mr. Brown joins eSpeed from GL Trade, where, as a Managing Director he
was responsible for sales, client services and production teams as well
as relationships with financial exchanges. Previously, he served as
Chief Executive Officer of futures trading developer, 4D Trading, and in
management roles at other firms with responsibility for new business and
channel sales, and cross-functional international teams in technology,
financial and e-commerce fields.

Mr. Brown, who will be based in the firm’s
Chicago offices, will report to Mr. Saltzman and will also serve as
co-head of eSpeed’s Chicago office with
Patrick Troy, who serves as co-head of Fixed Income Sales.
